MRL Gearless Elevators Commercial, ADA Compliance, LULA & Residential
It is Machine Room Less. No other space than the hoistway is needed
It is driven by a Permanent Magnet Gearless Machine.
Because we use a PM gearless machine our elevator ride is extremely smooth and noiseless.
Multiple safeties (Brake on machine low speed shaft, electrical dynamic braking) act either separately or combined to provide the highest level of safety in the industry
Optional Controller Location
Our Gearless LULA & Home Elevators comes as an option with a full battery back up which is much more than the common rescue or battery lowering. If the power shuts down while the elevator is running at full speed and full load, it will just keep running at full speed as if nothing happened,
Our controller is compliant to A17.1 section 5 and is UL certified. It operates the elevator with the highest level of safety. We are using a commercial elevator board with extensive capabilities. We also offer a full battery back up which is much more than the common rescue or “battery lowering”. If the power shuts down while the elevator is running at full speed and full load, it will just keep running at full speed as if nothing happened, and will keep running for hours on the battery.

It is Machine Room Less. No other space than the hoistway is needed.
Our elevator is driven by the smallest gearless machine in the industry. The motor is a high performance Permanent Magnet Synchronous, It doesn’t need any maintenance, in particular no oil is needed. It has a brake on the low speed shaft and is absolutely quiet when running. Those are distinct advantages of our machine versus the geared machines used by competitors in this industry. Geared machines are known to be noisy, unsafe (brake on high speed shaft) and require maintenance (oil)

All cabs are custom built in our Fabrication Facility to the specific homeowner's taste and architect's specifications.
Traditionally, elevator manufacturers produce a 36" x 48" cab and the home is built around the elevator. Universal Elevator Company takes a different approach.
